DEVLIST Interface

Some jukebox vendors supply software which makes their jukeboxes appear to have one drive per volume in the jukebox. In this scenario, a 32-slot jukebox with double-sided volumes will appear as 64 drives.

Using the DEVLIST jukebox type will effectively disable most JB commands that one would normally expect to use to move volumes in the silo. The vendor-supplied software is assumed to perform all required jukebox manipulations. The JB MOUNT/MOUNT="SHARE" command will not do anything, because the volume is already mounted /SYSTEM (or /CLUSTER). The only effect it will have is to increment the mount count for the device associated with the volume. The JB DISMOUNT, EJECT, and JB LOAD commands will have no effect and therefore do not need to be used.
